LICENSING
IronSong licensing protects access to the software you purchased without making license management part of your creative workflow.
PROTECT THE BUSINESS.
DON'T PUNISH THE CUSTOMER.
Commercial software needs a reasonable way to establish who owns it.
That does not require treating every paying customer as a potential adversary.
Licensing should be predictable, recoverable, and mostly invisible.
Your license is yours
A perpetual IronSong license does not expire because a subscription ended. You bought the software.
Activation should stay out of the way
Licensing exists to verify entitlement, not to become a recurring part of using the product.
Normal hardware changes are normal
Replacing or upgrading a computer should be a license-management task, not a negotiation with support.
Recovery should be possible
A failed drive, lost installation, or replaced machine should not turn a legitimate purchase into a dead end.
Your IronSong account is the home for your licenses, downloads, and available license management actions.
If licensing prevents you from using software you legitimately own, that's our problem too.
